Building on from my Initial Thoughts post (here), what has changed upon reaching the final moments of the game? Does it remain a cheap knockoff, riding on the back of God of War? Read more to see how I fared in the depths of Dante’s Hell.

Heavy Rain is a game I have been loosely following for a while after it was first annouced, but then go more and more interested in as time went on. It was finally released in the week just gone, and I had my copy delivered two days ago. So far I have played for about 2-3 hours (or there abouts), so what do I think?
Whoa! What a long strange trip it has been! One that has been long awaited. Mass Effect 2, developed by Bioware and produced by EA, is the midpoint of their epic trilogy which pits Commander Shepard, of the Human race which has been floundering on the galactic scale after discovering other sentient life and civilisations with years of entangled history and politics, against the Reapers, an extra-galactic ancient threat.

This will be a pretty short update, but in between other things, I recently picked up Bayonetta on the Xbox 360. Once you get past the overly sexy and provocative shell (of which there is an interesting discussion *here*) there is a remarkably solid and fun game!
Due to the overall Christmas rush I didn’t manage to squeeze in any Sunday Movies in the weekend just gone. I did however, make a trip to the cinema last night to see Avatar. Not the ultra cool 3D Imax version, but I might attempt to rectify that in the coming month or so…
The latest series focusing on everyone’s favourite serial killer has come to a close. At twelve episodes long (as is every other Dexter series) it is just the right length to explore the story without getting lost or bogged down in filler episodes that have nothing to do with the main plot. I shall try to keep spoilers to a minimum, but no guarantees – you have been warned!
