This will be a pretty short update, but in between other things, I recently picked up Bayonetta on the Xbox 360. Once you get past the overly sexy and provocative shell (of which there is an interesting discussion *here*) there is a remarkably solid and fun game!
This game mainly reminds me of the Devil May Cry series, which is hardly surprising as the man behind the game is the same man who came up with the original Devil May Cry in the first place!
You play a witch who has a penchant for wielding up to four guns at once among a selection of other weapons and who wages war against “Paradiso” (Heaven) and its army of Angels for the persecution she faced earlier in her existence.
I am not hugely far into the game yet, but I am absolutely loving it! The game itself is easy to pick up and play as a button masher, but those who choose to experiment and look at the combo options will find a far deeper experience.
If you are interested in giving it a go, you can find the demo on the Xbox Live Marketplace *here*.
